HMMM.

I feel a little lost on the blogging front.

I have things, things I want to say, but can't seem to form the full thought in my head. Then I question if it is revealing too much of my inner workings, yet I have done that exposure here before.

Thoughts were running like streams through my head last night...hopefully, I will get them all into the same lake and blog about it soon.

Until then the disjointed blogging remains. :D

On to more vacation fun through pictures...
We visted the waterpark.

Sometimes being a mom to two really hits me hard. Waterpark was one of those times. Buggy, even though she is older, is the more hesitant to adventure out of the wave pool. Bubba wanted to go down the slides. What is a mom to do? Buggy is too tall to be in the kiddie pool where the slides were more doable for Bubba (and much more to my liking in size) so we couldn't go in there without making her sit on the sidelines. It tore at my heart strings. I made a pack with them that the could each choose an activity and we would alternate. So onward we went, Lazy River, to Wave pool, to Adventure River, back to splash pad and so on. Overall it was successful, even though Bubba didn't get to do any big slides.

Moving on. My company has season tickets to Bears (giving away my location a little ;) ) As luck has it, I got tickets while I was on vacation. The kids first Bears game. I am a FAN, a really big fan of football in general, but ESPECIALLY of the Bears. We got on our gear and took the drive into the city. Three hours later and a million wrong turns we arrived at the stadium....two minutes before THE HALF. I was really bummed to have missed the whole team entry and the first half, but we settled into our seats. It was amazing to see the stadium through their eyes. My mom tagged along, it was her first game too. Here are those pictures (and I added some to my head banner).

Ok now this next picture seemed like a great idea at first, but now looking back...it makes me LAUGH.

LOOK, Bryan Urlacher has just given birth to me, Bubba and Buggy. How proud he must be. Walter Payton is giving him a congratulatory hand shake.

What is even better is that this wasn't the only picture like this...

My head, right in his crotch, sounds dirty but it's not.

LOL...Anyway, we had great time and it was one of the most exhausting vacations I have had staying home.

  2. Can't. Stop. Laughing.

I can see how it was a great idea but in hindsight... or is that foresight.... hahahahahahahah!

Looks like a great time and I know what you mean at the water park, it's hard to manage two kids who want to do two different things. But I also think it teaches them to care about others feelings and desires so while it's really hard, it's actually really good. Why are all the good lessons so exhausting though!
