Eight years, eight years!?!?!?!
I never knew unconditional love until I became a mom.
I never was a morning person, but to wake each day and see your sleepy face is morning love at its finest.
I never was a competitive person until someone challenged your ability.
I never knew pride until I saw you succeed at your goal.
I never knew sleepless nights until I lie awake thinking of how I can be better for you.
Your due date was September 28, 2000; you were born September 28, 2000.
I knew then you were a girl with her own time schedule and you were sticking to it. You are my turtle turtle. You like your own pace and as you grow older I hope it means that you will realize the true meaning of stop and smell the roses.
So on this eighth birthday my wish for you is strength, confidence and a spirit that is all your own. I love you Buggy, happy birthday!
