Super Sunday...

Honestly I am still bitter about Super Bowl 41, where my beloved Bears were beat by the Colts.

*have you seen the commercial with Peyton where people are telling him to choke, or take a hike?
They make me giggle every time I see one. It's not that I don't like the Colts, I do, just not when they are playing the Bears. :D

It has been hard to celebrate since that loss.

However, I do like the commercials, just like I like to read the articles in Playgirl. (no really, I do)

We are choosing to stay home this year, we might cook up some chili, or have some hot wings, I am thinking of whipping up some awesome salsa, but the best part is I can lay around in my jammies...

*that's a joke, it is too damn cold to walk around like this...my jammies are more of the grandma type and I sleep with socks on sometimes, take that Liam

and still get to bed at a reasonable time for work and the kids for school the next day. Sounds like a perfect Sunday, no?

Who do you want to win?
I think the Steelers are tough, and mean and I wouldn't mind seeing them win. On the other hand, Cardinals have more of a Cinderella story, so either way, I guess is all good to me.

  1. Me+Football- don't get along. If the husband makes it home in time to watch the game, you'll find me on the couch with my laptop and headphones watching a movie.

  3. Hey, where'd you get that picture of me in my fav black jammies?

  4. I flat out DON'T like the Colts. Have always held a grudge against them. Let me give you a little lesson. If you're ever in Indy picking up your hubby, and the Super Bowl is playing on the tv in the restaurant you're in... And your team scores against the Colts.. do NOT, I repeat NOT!!! yell out "Hahaa!! YES!!" That was one of the few times in my life that I thought I might be murdered. LOL

  5. Ooo, she can come watch the Super Bowl at my house in those jammies. I'll keep her warm.

Since I really don't care either way, and I grew up in AZ I guess I have to cheer for the Cardinals.

  6. Oh calling me out are ya?

Yea I can't stand wearing socks without shoes... dunno why.. I also can't wear pajama pants either...

Anyways... Peyton's a great actor... and honestly a lot of Indiana was split for that game, especially considering how most of Indiana were Bears fans prior to 1984... Me personally... I'm a Lions fan... (and a Colts fan...)

  7. GO CARDS!!!! ha.ha..ha. The "petty" reason? DC is a HUGE Steelers fan and he's been such a dickhead to me that I'm rooting for the Cards. See? Petty... but fun!

  9. I'm going to Tivo the game because the only part I care about is the commercials. I'll watch them before bed so I am ready for watercooler talk on Monday.

I'll probably read a book while the game is on. Ahhh, the joys of a male-free home.

  10. Well, since my Eagles are out of it - I can enjoy the commercials without the added stress of caring who wins.
