Today's topic is
What's your makeup regimen?
I have recently adopted the do my make-up at home regiment, as opposed to in the car. I use to be one of THOSE woman, doing their make-up in the rear view mirror. I know, so dangerous.
I start with Covergirl Smoothers, I am not a big foundation wearer, this is a perfect compromise, it goes on like a lotion with a tint of color. PLUS, it has sunscreen in it, which is a must.
Next is a blush, I use whatever I can find, right now it is a Mary Kay bronzer cause I am a sucker for all home parties and I can't leave without buying something. I do like it just fine, but for the price, it's just not worth it, in my opinion.
After the sweeping of color on my cheeks, it's all about the eyes. I am partial to a nice light brown and sometimes a purple color. These I find bring out my green eyes best.
Then come the LASHES. I use Fantastic Lash Mascara, again by Covergirl. (Who knew this girl talk was going to be a covergirl commercial?) So far, it is my mascara of choice for now. It does the trick in giving me the dark, full eyelashes that I love. :)
Second most important item, one I don't even consider part of the regiment cause it is with me at.all.times. Chapstick. Any kind. I love glossy lips, but not too glossy or sticky. I don't wear any lipstick or rarely a tinted chapstick. I feel like a clown when I have color on my lips. For some reason my lips feel HUGE when I have color on them, I don't know why. Right now I am trying out Burt's Bees Replenishing Lip Balm with Pomegranate Oil. It does give some moisture to my lips, but it is not as glossy as I like.
And there you have it. My make-up takes me about 5 minutes, 4 minutes spent on eye lashes. Pretty quick and easy.
What about you? What is your make-up regiment?
