This week, EMOTION.



This past week we lost power at home; it was an eerie evening, still light enough outside, but gloomy and heavy with storms threatening.

I went out on the deck to look to the sky and saw this peonies petal laying on the step.

Here is my heart, laying here.
Covered in drops of tears, but still intact.
Basking in the glory of what will be and what still is.

*ahem*

and lastly...

Preschool Graduation and cupcakes, can't get much better than that.



My baby.
A goofy five year old. God help his kindergarten teacher.
I can't believe he is old enough to go to "big boy" school and that right there is emotional beyond belief.
