Time is flying at exactly the moments that I want it to...isn't that awesome?
I'm going to throw some randoms at ya today...cause there's lots going on here.
-I am closing on Peed Bush, soon to hopefully be renamed cause peeing on the bush in what is NOW OUR HOUSE'S front yard is way too hillbilly even for Bubba, (could this be the longest possible sentence, er run on and on) FRIDAY!! THIS FRIDAY YO.
-This Friday's closing will mark the first home I've purchased ALL.BY.MYSELF!!
-Immediately following closing, I'm picking up the kids and we are just going to go sit in our house, because we can and it's ours. I will not say forsure, but there might be dancing. House buying makes me feel like dancing. Disco style.
-Saturday morning I have a truck lined up to get the things from stepdad's over to Peed Bush. I hope to work most of the day moving things into the house. Setting up beds is first on list.
-Cable company will be there to hook up cable sometime in their rude FOUR hour window time frame. So after the priority of beds, I'd like to get a TV in. It will be a righteous bachelor pad at that point, right? Bed and TV (with remote). Nice.
-Bubba has a game on Saturday, right smack dab in the middle of the day. Lovely. Why did we sign up for Fall ball again? Whateves.
-Sunday (Sunday, Sunday) because I'm crazy and cheap, we will be throwing my daughter's NINETH birthday party AT.THE.HOUSE. It will save me $65 that I was going to spend on renting a pavilion at a local park. The question is, will it give me a $65 headache? It's just a family and friend's party, so they love us enough to not care if there's no couch to sit on yet, right?
-"family" is italicized for a reason... I'm going to see how the party goes and get back to you on that topic. *hint-check back on TOTALLY TICKED OFF TUESDAY*
-But not on the 9/29 cause I will be on vacation...and I have no home computer, therefore, there will PROBABLY not be any posts here next week...unless I sneak some cyber time from someone.
-I thought about having guest posters, ie; madness posers, but I don't like the pressure of BEING a guest poster, not that I've been asked really before, but yeah. Hey can YOU post on my blog and be funny. I FREEZE. I forget what funny is, or what is funny to me.
So anyway...that's what I have for today...super busy here at work trying to prepare for my week off...hope you all are well.

I like the idea of a bachelor pad at Peed Bush. It sounds like a great idea. Will the mattresses be on the floor?

ReplyDeleteI'm thinking that you could do a birthday/housewarming party and you would sort of break even on that one, right?!! It's worth a shot. Oh, and after the beds and tv are set up--make sure to load the fridge with liquor. NOW it's a pad!
