This is it. This weekend is the 40th anniversary party for Mr.F's parents.

I'm excited!

I will take lots of pictures and even try to get some PG13 ones for the blog. ;)

Does anyone know how nice it is to be with someone who is just as controlling into party planning as I am?

Does anyone know how DIFFICULT it is to be with someone who is just as controlling into party planning as I am?

When I say controlling party planning I mean it in a nice way. Not in a party pooper planning way.

I have been use to being with someone who GLADLY would suggest a party and then bow out for me to take over. I would too. I'd plan that party to a T...and stress about that party while he slept peacefully. I'd resent and resent and resent him for his lack of participation.

Yet I was the one that jumped in and took over.

CONTINUALLY.

I was the one that didn't reach out for more help. I was the one that felt like I was putting someone out when I asked for help.

So I'd just do it. All of it. Allll byyyy myyyyseelllfff. *WAH WAH WAH*

So, when Mr.F told me he was gonna throw this party for his parents it took every fiber of my being to shut up and LET HIM plan the party. Not to say I didn't make suggestions or throw out ideas, but I have SAT BACK (to my standards) and let him plan the party.

DO you know how difficult it's been?

I deserve a medal or something. Just sayin.

I better take this medal and run, cause tonight we are decorating and putting the finishing touches on the party I hope I can keep my controlling party planning skills in check.
