Maybe I was just a crab.

I didn't agree with the judges AT.ALL last night on Idol...

Buggy and I watched, I snarled, I cringed and then my jaw dropped when the judges raved. I looked over at Buggy and asked, "What am I missing?"

Towards the end of the show, I KNEW I must have been missing SOMETHING because Shebangs performed and I thought, "That was ATROCIOUS"...then the judges loved it.

I had decided right then that I must rewatch the show, cause maybe I was just a crab.

As the delete or save program option popped up on my TV, I hit delete.

DAMMIT.

Buggy giggled. I stomped my feet. She giggled more.

Shania Twain night. (How adorable is she???)

Aaron Kelly...chicken little. "You've Got A Way. - Clay Aiken ish??? Anyone? One of the judges said, "this is the kind of record you should be making"...and just like Clay's records, this is the kind of record I will not be buying. Just sayin.

Casey James...Don't. First response last night was DON'T SING ANOTHER THING...but Mr.F said he LOVED it...so I really wanted to give it another chance. On second listen, I still don't like it. He has a shakiness (vibrato???) to his voice that annoys me. Maybe Mr.F liked it more for a dedication to me and not really for the singing of it (though to be honest, Mr.F did say ...and I quote..."he can sing")

He's so romantic. No worries babe, apology accepted for whatever it is you did this time.

Moving on to Crystal Bowersox..."No One Needs to Know"...she said this was a shout out to her boyfriend...a piss or get off the pot message??? (PS. No one needs to know, except the millions watching. We'll keep your secret.) I thought it was an OK performance...somewhere in the middle she lost me with the twanginess, but it was just OK for me (dawg). SURPRISE SURPRISE the judges didn't like it. Neither did Mr.F and he's really up Crystal's ass a fan of hers.

Lee DeWyze..."You're Still the One"...started out rough for me. It really did and still is the second time around. When he got into it though, I did like it O.K. but I wasn't that impressed and thought it could have been better. I am up his ass and want him to win a big fan of his.

Michael *yawn* Lynche..."It Only Hurts When I Breath"..Judges compared him to Luther Vandross. I like Luther, but I don't own any of his records, cds, albums, whatever. Anyone wondering where Michael's personality went? He's a sleeper, yawnfest. He sings well, I agree, I'd buy his Lullaby cd. Michael Lullaby Lynch.

Siobhan Magnus..."Any Man of Mine" FOR THE LOVE OF PETE. I am not kidding when I say I wanted to throw something after her performance. If Buggy hadn't been sitting next to me I would have cussed up a storm. Worse of it, THE JUDGES LOVED IT...I'd like to roll tape and have everyone watch Shania's face...cause I think it says it all...at least it did to me. If you want to save your ears check around 2:55 for Shania's face.



It reminds me of this time when I was in high school...and a friend heard me sing. He said my voice was too sing songy to do any upbeat song, he said my voice was too sweet and flowy...it's what rang through my head when Shebangs was singing. It was too flowy...and then she did that G-damn screaming.

*argh*

So there you have it. My Idol review of last night's show. I think bottom three will be Aaron, Siobhan, and Michael. I'd like to see either Aaron or Siobhan go home.
