AND IT STARTS...

Here it is.  The BUSY part of our summer.  As if the first part of the summer wasn't busy in itself.

Both kids are LOVING the jump start summer school program. 

*shew*

Bubba had his first football practice last night, he seemed to really like it.  The coach met with the parents after practice and said he really plans on running them silly and wearing them out.

I am sure the smile on face said it all.  PERFECT.  Wear Bubs out, rough him up a little, I love it all. :o)

Buggy starts her karate tonight.  I am excited for her. 

There were quite a few moms that I knew with kids on Bubba's team.  I was talking to one in particular.  She has her older son in swimming.  I've wanted to get Buggy into the swim club here, but they practice so early in the day that I didn't know how I could work that schedule.  When this Mom mentioned it last night, my light bulb went off in my head.  Maybe if the karate doesn't work out, I can set up a car pool deal.

I love living in the town that we are in...there are so many connections...so many familiar faces!

Mr.FF's debut coaching gig went smoothly.  He's so organized and awesome.  I can't wait to see him in his coaching shirt, whistle hanging from his neck, out on the field yelling out plays and doing whatever else the coaches do...*meow*

Did I mention Bubba's coach is one half of the "it" couple?  Funny to read that (and this one) from two years ago.  How much of my life has changed since then.  Crazy.

My bestie Kim was in town this weekend.  She left today.  It's just never enough time...especially with kids involved.  It is just never enough time. 

(KIM...let's really think about that friends weekend next summer.  For reals)

I think that is all I have for now.  I am really frazzled with the new schedules, and work...hang in there, I am sure I will get back to the funny soon. ;)
