My goodness. It's 85 degrees out today, absolutely no humidity. It almost feels chilly in the shade.
Is summer over?
Kids started jump start summer school on Monday. We are one month away from the new school year starting.
Is summer over?
Football practice starts in less than a week.
I don't want summer to be over.
Jimmy Buffet concert was earlier this year than in years past. I wish he'd keep it in August.
Time is flying by...and I am ready for it to slow just a little bit. Just a smidgen.
However that is not going to be the case...but there are still plenty of days left of summer.
August will be full of football, a camp out at the minor league baseball field, a friend's wedding and I am sure plenty of other summery activities. I'm gonna keep looking forward because my behind is fuzzy.
Wait. Ah, you know what I mean.
"Summer Lovin' ... Happens so fast". And it did. It had to. It used to piss her off royally if the sweat dripped off the end of my nose onto her face. And I couldn't cover her face with a towel because, you know, that would kill the mood, too.
ReplyDeleteSummer flies by so quickly. Soon, the piles and piles of snow will be here. I will have to shovel it, I will have to drive in it, and I will wish summer was back here again. Ho hum.
